# Download on the web

Use the website for individual downloads, ZIP batches, and saved playlists.

## Download media

Open [the downloader](/download), paste up to 10 public links, and choose individual downloads or a combined ZIP. Follow progress while jobs run. If the deployment requests authentication, sign in with Discord and return to the download page.

The browser can reconnect to active jobs after a refresh. A job can still fail because the source is unavailable; refreshing does not restart it or repair a source failure.

## Albums and ZIP files

An Instagram post can contain several photos and videos. The website uses every returned file. A combined archive is created in the browser; the HTTP `/batches` endpoint itself does not return a ZIP.

If an item fails or is cancelled, the combined ZIP must not silently omit it. Retry the failed source or download completed items separately. Large archives require browser memory, so use smaller batches when needed.

## Saved playlists

Sign in with Discord to create up to 5 playlists, with up to 50 source links in each. Select up to 10 items for one download request.

| Visibility | Who can read it |
| --------------------------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| Private | The owning account |
| Limited access (`unlisted`) | Anyone who has the link |
| Public | Anyone; it can also appear in the public list |

Reading a shared playlist does not grant permission to edit it or start downloads as its owner. A playlist stores source links, not permanent copies of the media. Links may stop working later.

For an integration, use the [playlist API](/docs/en/reference/playlists). For a connection error, follow [troubleshooting](/docs/en/troubleshooting).
