## Read the directory

A MediaFilez partnership is separate from Discord's Partner or Verified badge. A community may appear in the directory without being an API partner.

Member counts and bot totals are snapshots. If a count is unavailable, it does not mean zero. Adding member counts across several servers also does not give a count of unique people.

## Become a partner

For a bot, website, or service that needs downloads, contact [partner@mediafilez.online](mailto:partner@mediafilez.online). Describe your project, the sources you need, and your expected usage. Include a community invite if relevant.

API access is arranged separately from a directory listing. Once you receive a key, follow the [API quickstart](/docs/en/quickstart). Keep the key in your backend; users of your bot or website should not receive it.
