accTitle: MediaAnalyzer inspection
accDescr: A direct media URL is checked over HTTP and inspected with FFmpeg before the CLI prints technical metadata.
U[Authorized direct media URL] --> H[HTTP HEAD check]
H --> C{405 or 501?}
C -->|Yes| G[Range GET fallback]
C -->|No| M[Read HTTP response metadata]
G --> M
U --> P[FFmpeg container and stream probe]
M --> R[Console report]
P --> RUse it for
- Inspecting final URL, content type, reported size, and redirects.
- Reading duration, bitrate, resolution, audio tracks, subtitles, and metadata.
- Comparing what a filename suggests with what FFmpeg reads from the content.
Know its boundary
It expects a direct media URL. It does not extract video from Instagram post pages or other social webpages. Obtain an authorized direct URL first, for example from a completed API file lookup.
It is not an HTTP download service, a Worker replacement, or a full-file corruption/security scanner. It reads technical metadata and does not check every frame.
The project is MIT-licensed. Continue with build and run or reading a report.
